A Moment of Gratitude

I thank God for these blessings

I want to take time and appreciate all the incredible blessings God has given me. So I’ve compiled a list of a few things I’m thankful for. Be sure to leave a comment with what you’re thankful for!

My Family

I am thankful for my family. Who've always supported my writing. My mother, who introduced me to other worlds through reading. My grandfather, who recognized the passion within me and encouraged me to pursue it. My father, who provided me with the resources I needed to learn how to tell a good story. And to my sisters, who don't like to read but still read my book and proceeded to tell all their friends about it.

Hope*writers

One thing I'm particularly thankful for is the writer's community I'm apart of, hope*writers. There, I've gotten to meet so many amazing writers. I've gotten to encourage and be encouraged. So thank you hope*writers and all the amazing members I've gotten to connect with!

My Fellow Authors

I am thankful for all the authors who've chosen to take the crazy stories in their head and actually choose to go on the difficult journey of putting those stories onto paper for the world to see.

Specifically, I'm grateful for Ted Dekker, Bryan Davis, The Miller Brothers, and Terri Blackstock. Reading your books got me through a dark time, a time when your characters were the only friends I could count on. Reading your books inspired my own creativity and brought me to where I am today.

I am truly thankful to each and every one of my readers. I am so grateful to all of you who chose to purchase a copy of Downfall, read, and review it. Without you, there's be no way I could continue writing. Without you, I'd just be some crazy guy with a bunch of imaginary friends.
