Don't let the rather bland series title fool you, this series is incredible. A family must survive when all the electricity and power in the world is lost. This series is much more concept based than most of her other books, but that's where it thrives.
This story takes what worked in the first book and adds a fantastic plot line about self sacrifice and helping those around you.
